The Exact Key Service Workshop has the most advanced equipment available to date. Our programming and diagnostic equipment is verifyed to be used on all cars in the market place today.
I use and support Advanced Diagnostics UK, Silca Italy and Keyline equipment. They
have been in the automotive key industry from the time keys were first used in cars
and relentlessly research for the future.
It usually takes an hour to program a key
for most cars if a key is available.
If you have done the unthinkable and lost your only key it can take a couple of days to make a key and program it to your car ECU. The vehicle is best to be towed to my workshop for this, as the process requires a few different types of machinery. Software, Hardware, Code cutting machinery and diagnostic tools.
On the “plus side” I like using this equipment and get a buzz when the car starts once again.
PLEASE DO NOT JUST GET THE CAR TOWED, IT HAS TO BE BOOKED AND ALSO SOME CARS ARE NOT ABLE TO BE PROGRAMMED AND WILL NEED A NEW COMPUTER FROM. THE DEALER.
TRUE STORY:
I received a email from a potential client. He wrote that he had lost his only key for his 2005 car and asked what the cost would be. I quoted the price that it would and he replied back that he had got a better quote. That was fine and I did not hear from him for about a month.
He emailed and asked for a quote again.
I questioned him and he explained that his car was still not running but had been to two separate workshops the first was a back yard type that quoted $400 cash but after 2 weeks could not do the job, and the second was a dealership that wanted $5,300 and it would take about a month.
He told them that he could not afford that.
The car was finally towed to my workshop that Monday.
I phoned him on the Tuesday and told him that he could come and pick up his car.
It cost him $780 and he was happy!
